It was another weekend of highs and lows for Kansanshi Dynamos FC across their teams:
Senior Team: Held Again
The senior team settled for a goalless draw against Kitwe United in their National League clash at Garden Park Stadium. Despite dominating stretches of play, a missed penalty in the 27th minute and resilient defending by the hosts left Kansanshi frustrated. The result keeps the Mabanga Boys second on the log with 29 points, four behind leaders Konkola Blades.
Coach Zeddy Saileti praised the team’s effort but acknowledged the disappointment of not capitalizing on key opportunities. He emphasized the importance of the upcoming match against Konkola Blades, describing it as a “cup final” for their title aspirations.
Kansanshi Queens: Dominant Victory
The Queens delivered an emphatic 3-0 win over Amazing Grace Girls in Kabwe, climbing to 17 points on the log. Goals from Docus Kupanda, Agnes Ngoma, and Justina Chambula secured the three points as they continue their push for promotion to the Eden Women’s Super League.
Young Kansanshi United: Hard-Fought Draw
The developmental team earned a 1-1 draw against Kabompo Power Stars in the FAZ Division One North-western League. Chongu Samudengu found the net for the boys, who now trail the league leaders by seven points.
Kansanshi Academy: Match Rescheduled
