After an early setback in the 16th minute, Kansanshi fought back with Tranquilin Mwepu’s equalizer in the 26th minute. Despite missing a penalty in the 54th minute, Dalitso Lungu redeemed himself with a 72nd-minute winner. Coach Saileti praised the team’s commitment.

“The boys did very well. I’m happy with their performance, especially their resilience after falling behind early.”

  1. Young Kansanshi United – FAZ Division One North-western League
Young Kansanshi United delivered a thrilling finish against second-placed Max Palace FC, clinching a 1-0 victory with a last-minute goal from Gilpin Shemi in the 93rd minute. This hard-earned win moved them to third on the log with 17 points after week-10 round of matches.
  1. Kansanshi Queens – ZPL Women’s National Division One
Kansanshi Queens travelled to Nakonde to face former log leaders Ntindi Shining Stars, emerging with a 1-0 victory thanks to captain Chishimba Chishimba’s 22nd-minute goal. In a tough second half, the Queens held firm, causing Ntindi to drop to second while Kansanshi Queens moved to sixth with 13 points. The pool remains tight, with most teams separated by goal differences.
