It was a successful weekend for Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club, with two teams in action and both coming away with well-deserved victories.

Senior Team- Kansanshi Dynamos FC 2-0 Chirundu United

The senior team, Kansanshi Dynamos FC, continued their impressive form with a strong 2-0 victory over Chirundu United. The match kicked off with an explosive start as Dalitso Lungu scored in the second minute with a well-placed header off a precise cross from Kizito Kezeron, giving the Fearless Mabanga Boys an early lead. Despite Chirundu’s persistent offensive efforts, Kansanshi’s defense held firm, with goalkeeper Gregory Sanjanse making crucial saves to maintain the lead.

In the second half, Kansanshi solidified their advantage when Mathew Mwale netted his debut goal for the club in the 57th minute, securing the 2-0 scoreline. Several tactical substitutions from Coach Zeddy Saileti kept the momentum on Kansanshi’s side, including the introduction of fan favorite Kelvin “Kacho” Chisamba, who nearly extended the lead with a powerful header that went just wide in the 79th minute.

This victory keeps Kansanshi Dynamos firmly in the chase, still three points behind Konkola Blades with 23 points from 10 games played.
