PREVIEW-WEEK 12: COACH SAILETI URGES FANS TO RALLY BEHIND THE TEAM TOMORROW

The ZPL National League enters Week 12 tomorrow, with Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club set to host Jumulo FC at Independence Stadium.

The “Mabanga Boys” are gearing up for what promises to be an exhilarating match as they aim to strengthen their position near the top of the table.

Head Coach Zeddy Saileti has called on fans to come out in full force, highlighting the importance of their support in boosting team morale and performance.

Currently just two points off the top of the table, Kansanshi Dynamos are eager to bounce back after their recent draw away in Kafue. They’ll be looking to return to winning ways on home turf, backed by passionate home supporters.

Kansanshi Dynamos and Jumulo FC are separated by nine points in the standings. Kansanshi Dynamos sit second with 24 points, while Jumulo are in eighth place with 15 points.

Coach Saileti shared his thoughts on the upcoming match in a pre-match interview with Kansanshi Dynamos FC Media:

On Expectations for the Match:

“Our expectations are high. After the draw, we’re focused on securing maximum points. We’ve prepared well and reminded the players not to underestimate Jumulo. They’ve shown strong defense recently, drawing many games and conceding few goals, so our goal will be to find ways to break through their defense and score to secure the points we need.”

On Being Just Two Points from the Top:

“I’ve told the boys to focus on our games rather than thinking about Konkola or other teams. The priority is to win our games, stay focused, and only discuss the standings at the end of the season.”

On Returning Home and Fan Expectations:

“We’re aiming for a strong performance with attacking play to entertain our fans. We hope to score more than two goals and make this a memorable game. It’s been a while since we played well at home, so we encourage the fans to come in numbers and support the boys—they can expect an exciting game.”

The coach also confirmed that there are no injury concerns within the squad, and the team is fully prepared for tomorrow’s encounter.

The match kicks off at 15:00 hours at Independence Stadium.
