PRE-MATCH|| KDFC Aim to Find Their Scoring Touch Against Kitwe United Tomorrow

Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club hit the road again, making a short trip to Kitwe for their Week 14 encounter in the ZPL National League.

The Mabanga Boys will face Kitwe United tomorrow in what promises to be an electrifying match at Garden Park Stadium.

Head coach Zeddy Saileti has expressed concerns about his team’s recent struggles in front of goal, particularly following a 0-0 draw against Young Green Buffaloes in Lusaka. Despite this, he remains optimistic and confident in his players’ ability to turn things around.

In a pre-match interview with Kansanshi Dynamos FC Media, Coach Saileti confirmed that midfielder Tranquiline Mwepu will miss tomorrow’s game due to illness but assured fans that the team has been working hard to address key areas.

Here are excerpts from Coach Saileti’s pre-match interview:

Q: How have you prepared for tomorrow’s match?
Coach Saileti:
“We’ve prepared well. We’ve been working on the players’ mindset and emphasized the importance of getting back to winning ways. Last week’s draw was disappointing, but we know Kitwe United is an experienced team. We just need to focus on playing our game, working as a team, and aiming for maximum points.”

Q: Coming off a draw, what areas have you worked on to get back to winning ways?
Coach Saileti:
“Our main focus has been on the striking force. We’re creating plenty of chances, but the conversion rate has been low. We’ve encouraged the players to be confident, stay patient, and make those chances count.”

Q: Another game on the road—are you worried about fatigue?
Coach Saileti:
“Not really. Fatigue is part of football, but it’s something we’ve managed well so far. We’re ready for the challenge.”

Q: Any injuries or absences?
Coach Saileti:
“Tranquiline Mwepu is out due to illness, but apart from that, the rest of the squad is fit and ready.”

The stage is set for an exciting battle, and the Mabanga Boys are determined to secure a positive result. Kickoff is set for 15H00 tomorrow at Garden Park Stadium in Kitwe.
