Today, Kansanshi Dynamos FC takes on Leopards Hill FC in an exciting clash in the ZPL National Division One League. The match, scheduled for 13:00 hours at Toyota Arena in Lusaka, marks the teamโs second away game of the season.
Kansanshi Dynamos FC currently tops the league table with six points from two games played. The team will be looking to maintain their winning momentum as they face a rebranded Leopards Hill FC, formerly known as Quattro Kalumbila FC, who have relocated from Kalumbila to Lusaka.
Head Coach Zeddy Saileti has brought a 20-man squad to Lusaka, ready to face the challenge. Although the team will be without their in-form striker Dalitso Lunguโwho has scored in both previous matchesโthe coach remains optimistic.
“We are ready. We’ve done our preparations,” Saileti stated, acknowledging the experience within the Leopards Hill squad while expressing confidence in his team’s momentum.
The coach emphasized the importance of maintaining focus and executing the game plan:
“The approach will be the same. We donโt want to concede; we want to play a game where we fight to score first and stick to our game plan.” The Coach adds.
One potential challenge for Kansanshi Dynamos is the artificial turf at Toyota Arena, a surface not familiar to most of the squad. However, Saileti has taken steps to prepare the team:
“We had a session in Luanshya, Baluba, to get a feel for that kind of pitch. So I think my boys are ready for this.” He said.
While the absence of Dalitso Lungu may raise concerns, Coach Saileti is confident in the depth of his squad, highlighting players like Justine Kangombe, who are ready to step up.
Kansanshi Dynamos FC looks to continue their winning streak and solidify their position at the top of the table, today’s match against Leopards Hill FC will be a significant test for this Zeddy Saileti-coached side.
