SEPTEMBER 28 WEEKEND RECAP: A MIXED BAG FOR KANSANSHI DYNAMOS FC

It was an exciting weekend for Kansanshi Dynamos FC as the senior team secured a convincing 3-1 victory over local rivals Trident FC in their Week Six ZPL National Division One League match.

Ackson Ndalama, a recent signing from Aguila Stars, opened the scoring for Kansanshi Dynamos in the 28th minute with his first goal for the club. However, the joy was short-lived as Trident FC quickly responded, equalizing just three minutes later with a strike from Gilbert Ntetani in the 31st minute to make it 1-1.

Marcel Kalonda restored Kansanshi Dynamos’ lead early in the second half, netting a beautiful header in the 48th minute. Dalitso Lungu then added a third goal, bringing his season tally to three, as he sealed the win with a well-placed shot to make it 3-1.

This victory takes the team to 13 points, solidifying their second place in the National Division One standings.
