Kansanshi Dynamos Football Club Head Coach Zeddy Saileti has expressed optimism ahead of tomorrowโs match against Ndola United, hoping his team can close out the year with a positive result as a festive treat for their fans.
The Week 18 fixture of the ZPL National League, which marks the start of the second round of the 2024/25 season, will also be the teamโs final game before a two-week break. League action resumes on January 6, 2025.
Reflecting on the preparations, Coach Saileti highlighted the importance of consistency as the team looks to build on their last home performance, a 2-1 win over Mpulungu FC. He also urged caution, acknowledging the quality of their opponents.
“Ndola United is a youthful and determined side. Theyโll come here hungry for points, so we need to remain focused and avoid underrating them. Our plan is to play our game, show character, and hopefully end the year on a high note,” Coach Saileti shared.
The two sides last met earlier in the season, with Kansanshi securing a 2-0 victory. However, Coach Saileti insists that past results mean little in this league:
“Every game is different. We respect all our opponents, and this match is no exception. Our goal is to stay disciplined and give the fans something to cheer about.”
With no injury concerns, the squad is fully fit and ready for selection, giving the technical bench plenty of options to approach the game.
The match comes with Kansanshi Dynamos sitting 2nd on the league table with 34 points, while Ndola United holds 11th place with 19 points after 17 games. Despite the 15-point difference, both teams will be eager to head into the break on a positive note.
Fans are encouraged to come and show their support at Independence Stadium as the Mabanga Boys look to make a strong statement heading into the second half of the season.
Kickoff: Saturday, 15:00
Venue: Independence Stadium, Solwezi
Letโs rally behind the team and look forward to what promises to be an exciting encounter!
